The Minneapolis Foundation invites you to join them for an informal session to ask questions and learn more about the Great Lakes Environmental Justice Thriving Communities Grantmaking Program (Great Lakes TCGM). In this session, they will walk through the Great Lakes TCGM budget template and answer questions. The meeting will be recorded and shared after the event.

EPN is holding SAM.gov Registration Office Hours every other Wednesday.
During this time, EPN staff will help you begin, continue, or finish up your registration process. As a reminder, federal funding applicants must have an active SAM.gov and Grants.gov registration in order to apply.

Region 5 EPA will present, “Why Do Quality Assurance?" and explain requirements for grant recipients of the Great Lakes Environmental Justice Thriving Communities Grantmaking Program. Representatives from the Science and Quality Assurance Branch will explain the role quality assurance plays in project planning, implementation, assessment, and evaluation. They will also discuss Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs), what’s involved, and how to gain assistance. We will have time for questions. This meeting will be recorded and shared after the event.

The Thriving Communities Webinar Series is a part of University of Illinois Extension and Prairie Rivers Network's collaboration to build capacity for technical assistance and education aimed to help communities navigate energy- and environment-related federal grant application systems, provide guidance on community inclusion, and lead community-specific strategic planning. This outreach should help communities secure and administer funding to address legacy pollution and invest in clean energy technologies.
