EPN Application Guides for Community Change Grants - Track 1 & Track 2

January 15, 2024

EPA’s Environmental and Climate Justice Community Change Grants are place-based investments focused on community-driven initiatives to be responsive to community and stakeholder input. They are designed to deliver on the potential of the Inflation Reduction Act for communities most adversely and disproportionately impacted by climate change, legacy pollution, and historical disinvestments.

To help applicants, EPN has created a suggested 6-step application process for Track I and Track II—including a suggested timeline—for this opportunity:

EPN has provided suggested steps you should follow to apply for Track I by Tuesday, February 20, 2024. This allows applicants to be eligible for the initial March 2024 review and award announcements, as well as resubmit a new application, after a debriefing with EPA, if not initially selected. Although EPA’s deadline for submission is November 21, 2024, applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so EPA encourages applicants to apply as early as possible.
