Funding Opportunity

Funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Office of Brownfields and Land Revitalization (OBLR) has opened up another round of its Brownfields Job Training Grants program.

The Department of Energy (DOE) Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Program is designed to assist states, local governments, and Tribes in implementing strategies to reduce energy use, to reduce fossil fuel emissions, and to improve energy efficiency. 

The Charging and Fueling Infrastructure Discretionary Grant Program (CFI Program) is a competitive grant program created by President Biden's Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to strategically deploy publicly accessible electric vehicle charging and alternative fueling infrastructure in the places people live and work – urban and rural areas alike – in addition to along designated Alternative Fuel Corridors (AFCs). 

The Department of Energy’s (DOE) National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is currently accepting applications until July 10, 2024 for their annual Energy Transitions Initiative Partnership Project (ETIPP): Coastal, Remote, and Island Community Technical Assistance program. 

The EPA Clean School Bus Program recently opened up its newest grant program, the Clean Heavy-Duty Vehicles (CHDV) grant. 

The Department of Energy Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program recently extended the application deadline for eligible Tribes from April 30, 2024 to May 31, 2025. Applications for states and local governments are still due April 30, 2024. 

The previous Clean School Bus (CSB) Grant Program opened on April 24, 2023 and closed on August 22, 2023. The TCTAC anticipates a grant cycle with similar dates this year. 

Renew America’s Schools is designed to help schools improve building efficiency, electrify heating and cooling systems, and to install renewable energy systems to reduce fossil fuel emissions - saving money and creating healthier learning environments in the process.

HUD Green and Resilient Retrofit Program offers multiple grant cycles to improve multi-family housing climate resiliency and carbon reduction measures.

The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) has opened the process for cities, towns, counties, Tribal governments and Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPO) to apply for $1.256 billion in funding for local projects that improve roadway safety.
